Fire has swept through a two-bedroom house at Suhum Ayekotse Oforikrom Chief house in Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region, destroying the entire building Monday. morning.

The fire, which started around 6:42 am, destroyed property estimated worth thousands of cedis.
It took firefighters several hours to douse the fire but could not savage personal belongings and household appliances in the building.
Though the cause of the fire is not immediately known, residents are pointing to a Kropot which caught fire in the kitchen and spread to other rooms within the apartment.
Parts of the building have developed serious cracks as a result of the fire.
The Ghana National Fire Service officer in Suhum Municipality, Mr Oddi Otoo Ofori Dua speaking with Accra fm news Reporter Kofi Michel, said their now started investigations to establish what caused the fire outbreak.
