Acording to the chiefs, they protested against the move by Nana Osei Nyarko III contesting the presidency of the ERHOC because, as far back as January 3, 2018, he was destooled as Omanehen by the head of the royal family, Opanyin John kwaku Yenoah in accordance with the customs and traditions of the land but he has since refused to step down and rather parades himself as the Omanehen.
